Anne Buck
I am an artist who loves the luminosity and translucence of watercolor. I work to create pieces with vibrant color in a somewhat impressionistic style. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design from Delaware Valley University, in Doylestown, PA. I spent several years working for the Soil Conservation Service doing field surveying and designing erosion and sediment control features. In 1987 I went back to school, and finished a certification in secondary science and a Masters Degree in Biology. I taught middle school biology for nearly 20 years for Cape Henlopen School District, Lewes, Delaware. After retiring I followed my passion for design and began a series of workshops in watercolor, studying with Mary Whyte, Charles Reid, Mel Stabin, Ted Nuttall, Janet Rogers and Marie Natale among others. I am the past president of the Milton Arts Guild and a member of the Delaware Watercolor Society, the Rehoboth Art League, and Delaware By Hand. Presently I am teaching watercolor workshops at my home and for the Milton Arts Guild. My work can be seen at the MIlton Arts Guild Gallery Federal Street, Milton, Anne M Buck 302-228-3265 email: [email protected] www.annebuck.weebly.com |
